My activity isn't showing up

Steps, exercise minutes, workouts and distance come from Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android). In the app, open Settings and look at Health data. If it says "Not connected", tap it to allow access.

If it's connected but the number is behind, bring FamFit to the front. It reads your activity again every time you open it. Phones limit what apps can do in the background, so the number catches up when you open the app, not continuously.

On iPhone, Apple doesn't tell apps whether you allowed or refused access, so a refusal shows up as zero. If you see zero after a walk, open the Settings app → Privacy & Security → Health → FamFit and turn on the type your goal counts.

A goal you named yourself ("Something else") isn't read from anywhere: you report it on the home screen each day.

My partner hit their goal but I didn't get a notification

Check Settings → Notifications in the app. If it says "Off", tap it. Once notifications have been refused, only your phone's Settings app can turn them back on.

FamFit also sends at most three notifications a day on purpose. If you've already had three, the rest wait until tomorrow.

Our streak broke and we both hit our goals

A day counts when each of you reaches your own goal before midnight in your own time zone. If one of you finished after midnight, that counts toward the next day.

You get one repair a week. Either you each hit 150% of your own goal the next day, or one of you asks for a repair and the other approves it in the app. If that isn't what happened, email us with both of your names and we'll look at the history.

I set the wrong goal

A goal can't be changed once the pact starts, because that would let someone move the finish line mid-streak. Open Settings → Leave this pact and start a new one. The old pact and its streak history stay under Past pacts.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete account and data. It erases your profile, your daily records, your photos and your notification history immediately, and it can't be undone. If you can't get into the app, email us and we'll do it within 30 days.

Something else

Email support@famfit.app. Including your name, your partner's name, and roughly when the problem happened makes it much faster to track down.
